General Hospital (GH) spoilers leak Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has made a grave error in judgment, and he’s going to be left scrambling to clean up the mess he’s made when he finds himself alone in the battle to protect his family. When Spencer sought help from his uncle, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), he had no idea what kind of man he was dealing with. Sure, his family never seemed to get along with Uncle Victor, and he doesn’t doubt that the man has used his power for evil at times. However, that’s just what he was relying on him for when he decided Victor was the best person to help him fast-track his way to the custody of his baby brother, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay). Now, the truth about Victor is going to come to light, and it’ll leave Spencer thinking he’s better off playing it safe and taking his time.

Spencer knows the more time passes with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) in control of Ace’s care, the more she’s going to prove that she’s a stable and loving mother who doesn’t deserve to lose custody of her child. Victor has the means to get rid of Esme in the blink of an eye, and that’s a hard offer for Spencer to resist.

Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) is dead, having been tossed off the footbridge into the icy waters below by Victor. When the police catch onto him and Spencer becomes aware that Victor is their prime suspect, he won’t want to believe his uncle is capable of something so vicious. He may even go to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) in hopes of learning it’s a lie, but that’s not the story Laura will deliver this time around. She’s done her best to shield Spencer from the truth about Victor, but it’s high time she comes clean.

When Spencer realizes the severity of the issue and who Victor is, he’s going to panic about being in cahoots with him. Moreover, Victor would be locked up, and Spencer will be left fumbling in the dark trying to figure out how to keep Esme alive now that his uncle is likely set on taking her out. Spencer doesn’t want Esme in his life or Ace’s, but that doesn’t mean he wants her dead.
