General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has hesitated to scale back on his operation to take down his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Even though Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has been pushing Michael to stay engaged in his covert plan to bring Sonny to ruins, Michael has sometimes dragged his feet. Truth be told, he keeps wondering whether he’s making the right decision, and his feelings for his dad sometimes get in the way. However, when Dex starts to act like he’s the one getting cold feet, it’s going to light a fire under Michael once again to get the job done.

It’s going to weigh heavily on Dex in the aftermath of nearly losing his life that he and Sonny are alive because they worked together to protect one another. The age gap between them might make the pair seem more like father and son than the brotherly love shared between Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), but they definitely have a companionship that is starting to peek through the blinders Dex has been wearing. When Dex starts feeling uneasy about the idea of not working for Sonny anymore and feeling like he may not want to put the boss man away after all, it’s not going to be easy to break the news to Michael.

Michael has had the same hesitation at times, but in the last week or two, he has convinced himself to stay the course and see this through. He knows he’s just getting cold feet and that ultimately it will be better for everyone and all of Port Charles if Sonny’s reign of crime is brought to an end. So when Dex tells him he’s out, Michael isn’t going to take it lightly. He might be too busy figuring out how to see this takedown through to mess with Dex right now, but rest assured he will come back around to make sure Dex pays dearly — which will in turn impact his little sister, unbeknownst to him.
