General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is concerned that her brother, Martin ‘Marty’ Gray (Michael E. Knight) could get caught up in something with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) that he doesn’t know how to get out of. When she sits down with Marty to discuss both of their communications with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Laura will be surprised by Marty’s willingness to trust Victor. No, he doesn’t think Vic is a good guy by any means, but Victor is the only person who can tell him where Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is, and he’s beyond ready to know.

Marty is tired of waiting for Anna and Valentin to pull through and find Lucy. It’s not that he doesn’t trust them or believe they’re working hard at tracking her down, but he feels rather useless hanging out in Port Charles and letting someone else come to her rescue. Still, Marty knows his area of expertise, and it’s not being a spy. When Victor throws him a bone, he just might be desperate enough to bite down on it.

General Hospital Updates – Victor Cassadine Could Strike a Deal

Victor wasn’t willing to negotiate his hostage tactics before, but now that he sees Marty is in possession of something he wants, he just might strike a deal with him. What could Marty have that Victor needs? The truth about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), of course. Victor assumes Marty knows whether or not Esme is actually suffering from memory loss. Obviously, Marty does not know that Victor is aware of where Esme has been all this time, but he could coax Marty into working with him to put Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) away. That probably wouldn’t take much pressure though as it’s something of a favor to Marty too since he took on Esme’s case, which Nik is paying for. If Victor agrees to turn Lucy over to Marty, will Marty compromise his bar license and career by looping Vic in on his private conversations with his client, Esme.

When Marty reveals Victor’s proposal to Laura and she gathers that her brother is actually entertaining taking Vic up on his offer, she will be stunned. Warning him not to take one step close to Victor might not be enough. In fact, he may tell her about it after the damage has already been done, and her warnings could cause Marty to grow anxious and worry that he’s made the wrong choice.
