Things get worse when Marlena passes away on the hospital rooftop. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will fail to bring Marlena back. Marlena’s death brings Sloan closer to Eric because she also lost her mother.

Eric feels that Sloan may be the only person who understands what he is going through. Eric lost his mother because someone withheld a treatment that she needed. Sloan lost her mother because she was fighting with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and fell off a roof. Eric and Sloan may become even closer after this ordeal.
