Bridgerton’ Season 3 Brief Teaser Gets Fans All Riled Up

Bridgerton spoilers, news, and updates tease that fans are freaking out over the brief teaser of its upcoming third season. There’s no release date yet for season 3, but the trailer teased that filming has already begun, and it’s probably going to be about Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton’s love story.

Bridgerton Spoilers – Starts Filming Season 3

Netflix has set the stage for what could be a highly-anticipated third season of Bridgerton. Though there’s no exact release date yet, fans got an exciting preview and confirmation that the show’s production is underway. In the teaser, they saw some of their favorite cast members holding up two fingers and then flipping them to three.

In the last part of the teaser, Luke Newton, who plays the role of Colin, opens the door of a carriage with the beautiful Nicola Coughlan inside. The actress, who plays the role of Penelope, then says, “Bridgerton Season 3 filming has officially begun.”

“You coming in?” she asked.

“Let’s go,” he responded and climbed into the carriage.

Coughlin also posted the same video on her Instagram page and wrote in the caption, “Get ready for the (carriage) ride of your lives, filming for #Bridgerton Season Three has officially begun.”

Bridgerton Updates – Why Did Fans Freak Out?

The teaser didn’t reveal that much except for the confirmation that the show is filming its third season. But fans couldn’t contain their excitement when Coughlan invited Newton inside the carriage.

“The way I choked on my coffee when she invited him into the carriage. They knew exactly what they were doing there,” one fan asked.

Bridgerton fans who have read the books are in for a special treat! Based on Julia Quinn’s series, Colin and Penelope’s love story is coming to Netflix. Romancing Mr. Bridgerton promises an exciting twist – with hints of a steamy carriage, the scene included, just like in the books.

Ruby Stokes Leaves Bridgerton

Meanwhile, Ruby Stokes talks about her decision to leave Bridgerton as Francesca Bridgerton. It was previously confirmed that she’d be leaving the show for its third season. She’ll be keeping herself busy with her new Netflix project called Lockwood & Co. Stokes may be exiting the show, but her character isn’t. Hannah Dood, which fans may recognize from Anatomy of a Scandal, will take over her role.
