The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers say that thankfully for Abby Newman, her life is about to turn around in 2023 and in a positive way, too. While she certainly has had her ups and downs, she never would have imagined that she would jeopardize her marriage when she did the dirty deed with her bestie Devon. Here’s a little run down of everything Abby’s done in this past year.

While there’s no doubt that Abby and Devon have always been close as friends, they only got closer after Devon became her sperm donor so she could finally become a mother. After her son Dominic was born, Devon made it clear that he wanted to play a huge role in the boy’s life. After all, he is the baby daddy. This didn’t sit very well with Chance, who was already having a hard time bonding with the little tot. Three is a crowd no matter if it’s in a parenting relationship or when filled with romance, right?

Well, in November things looked pretty bleak between Abby and Chance. Melissa Ordway told Soap Opera Digest, “She tells Chance she will try anything to make it up to him, even though she knows that there’s nothing she can do to make it right. This was the worst kind of betrayal and it will be really, really difficult to come back from that.”

The Young And The Restless Updates – What’s Next For Abby Newman?

She added, “Devon is just a good friend. There are no feelings between them. They made a huge mistake.”

Earlier in the year, Melissa Ordway said of her character, “I would love for Abby to embrace the ups and downs of motherhood. At this stage of her life, maybe she’s not very good at it, so there can be some comical moments as she learns what it takes to be a real mom.”

With that said, we have a feeling that Abby Newman will turn her life around in 2023. Watch This space.
