Little People, Big World Spoilers: Amy Roloff Opens Up About Selling The Farm

Little People, Big World spoilers reveal that Amy Roloff is pretty glad that she played it safe when it came to selling the farm to Matt Roloff, her ex-husband. With all of the drama that has been going on as Matt has tried to sell the property, Amy is happy that she isn’t part of the feud. She sold her portion of the farm to Matt a few years ago for $700,000. She had lived there for 30 years, but she knew that this was the best idea for her so that she could buy a home of her own and be done with the farm itself. When Matt told the family that he was selling the farm, things got pretty tense. His sons, Zach and Jeremy Roloff both put in offers, but Matt denied them both. This is what has really caused the drift in the Roloff family.

With Matt selling the farm, Amy is very happy that she is staying out of everything. He is trying to get $4 million for the property and Amy told him at the beginning that their sons wouldn’t be able to afford to buy it. She tried her best to get him to take one of their offers, but he wouldn’t budge on any of it. In a recent post on Instagram, Amy was very open about the farm and how she ‘played it safe.’

Amy and her friend, Lisa had a chat together about the show and the farm. Amy told Lisa, “At the time, it was overwhelming for me. At the time, it was a financial huge thing. I should’ve had a little more confidence in taking the risk instead of playing it safe. And I played it safe. So, you know, it is what it is. I’ve said this more than once- Matt owns it now. We all know it’s up for short rental.”

Little People Big World Updates – Amy Roloff No Longer Watches The Show

With all of the family drama, Amy continues to tell her fans that she never watches the show back. She told fans, “I typically do not watch my own episodes because of the very fact that I did it- I lived it six months ago. I don’t want to constantly feel like I’m looking back, so I keep it real. I don’t want to keep looking back and say, ‘Oh, I got to change what I do in this next episode.'”
