General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Hiding Esme Will be Easy, But How Will Nikolas Explain His Baby?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has been hiding Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) away in his castle for nearly a month now, and so far it’s going… okay. He’s not had anyone find out besides Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and he trusts it’ll stay that way as long as Esme doesn’t find the means to escape again. However, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) has just moved back into the castle and that could make it harder to keep Esme under wraps. However, it’s going to get a whole lot harder to hide the truth when that baby is no longer inside Esme’s belly. What does Nikolas plan to do then?

After Esme gives birth, Nikolas plans to have her flown to one of his islands in Greece where she will live out the rest of her life in luxury. Is Esme going to be able to part with her child though? Given her own tough childhood being brought up by wealthy adoptive parents and never knowing where she came from, abandoning her baby might be the last thing Esme plans to agree to. What is her alternative though — jail time?

General Hospital Updates –  Home Birth Will Be Easy Breezy

Nikolas might have been nervous about Esme giving birth on Spoon Island, but now that Elizabeth is helping him, he feels far less worried about anything going wrong. Still, Esme is going to go through an entire pregnancy without seeking real prenatal care, and her physical activity will be very limited being trapped in the north tower of Wyndemere.

Those aren’t great predictors of a healthy mom. Nonetheless, Elizabeth is going to help any worries Nikolas has about the birth to subside, and in the end, the home birth will happen with ease as it has for thousands of years. What comes after certainly won’t be as carefree though.

Hiding a Baby is Anything But Simple

Not only does Nikolas have to get Esme out of his house and into a jet headed for Greece, but she has to agree to it. That may not be such an easy choice for her once she’s faced with leaving her child behind and never seeing him or her again. Furthermore, Nikolas will be left with his newborn child. What does he plan to do with it? How will he hide a brand new baby from Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy), or Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez)?
