General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Elizabeth Uses Nikolas’ Hardship To Exit Her Relationship With Finn — Changes The Course Of Her Life

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) could barely compose her thoughts when Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) put her on the spot and asked if she was pregnant by another man. While she may not have uttered the words, she nodded and let him assume the worst. It was the only way she could see a way out from telling him the truth. In hindsight, eventually, she will realize she was looking for a way out of her relationship with Finn anyway. Still, using Nikolas’ drama-drenched life to do it was hardly fair to Finn, and it’s going to come back to bite her. Is Liz really ready to be a mother again — and to the child of a psychopath?

When Elizabeth told Finn she was pregnant with Nikolas’ baby, she was only thinking about the immediate future and the trouble she had gotten herself into. She couldn’t tell Finn the truth — that she was complicit in a crime and holding a pregnant woman against her will in Nikolas’ castle, forcing her to go without proper prenatal care, and planning to let Nikolas take her baby and ship her off to a Greek island instead of paying the price for her crimes.

General Hospital Updates – Finn Continues To Follow The Clues

Right now, Finn is furious with Elizabeth and reeling at the news that she is going to have a child with another man — someone he’s never cared for to begin with.

But as time passes and other information happens to come to light that makes him question the story Elizabeth gave him, he’s going to circle back to this and wonder if she was lying to him. When Finn goes snooping around into Elizabeth’s business, might he find she’s not really pregnant at all? How will she ever hide this from her medical peers at work?

A Baby For Elizabeth

Liz is looking for a way out that gets Finn to back off — and out of her business. He’s not going to give up that easily, but Liz might find herself wanting to throw in the towel on the whole scheme when she realizes what it means for her. Pretending Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) baby is her own would mean sharing it with Nikolas and taking responsibility for its life, upbringing, and well-being.
