General Hospital (GH) Spoilers tease Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is going to find a new leader soon, and he may choose to sidestep bringing it to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) attention right away. Drew has been working tirelessly at finding Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth parents, and even more so since he found out she is battling a potentially terminal illness. Drew wants nothing more than to deliver good news to Willow, especially after having to tell her he believes her birth mother might be dead. When he catches onto a new theory, something in him is going to nag at him not to tell Carly this time around. He might not be ready to deal with his own instincts, but that doesn’t mean he won’t follow them straight to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

When Drew and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) sat down together to hash out the details of what Alexis did — and did not — find while researching a woman named Joan who died during the time Denise Makenzie (Alice Rietveld) claims Willow’s birth mother did, it became clear they both have a certain opinion of Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel). Labeling her as a liar was a bit too kind if you ask Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), who knew her way back. Drew didn’t make time to talk with Phyllis about her experience with Harmony at that time, but he will be soon enough.

General Hospital Updates – Drew Cain  Can’t Put His Finger On What Feels Off With Carly Spencer

When Drew met with Denise at Charlie’s, and Carly showed up just in time to pivot the conversation in the direction Drew seemed to be looking for, he couldn’t help but wonder how she pulled that off. Although he hasn’t let Carly in on his suspicions, he can’t help but be curious about how she got Denise to cave and tell the truth — or at least the version of it she thought Drew would buy. Is this going to turn up another dead end? Is Denise just toying with him for no reason, or is the reason behind her deception far more sinister than that? Drew is hoping he’s wrong about Carly, but his instincts are going to guide him in keeping her out of the loop for a bit.

Phyllis Caulfield Holds The Key

Rumor has it Phyllis has all the answers Drew is seeking — she just doesn’t know she does. Phyllis believes she told Nina every detail about her birth experience that could possibly help her to have known who her daughter was, but it came too late to help her reunite with Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) before her untimely death. Little does Phyllis know, some of what she shares about her experience working with Harmony just might resonate with Drew in a way that it didn’t with Nina.
