The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of November 7, 2022, reveal that help is on the way for one of Genoa City, Wisconsin’s heroines. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has had a precipitous downward spiral in the last few days, culminating in her being talked down off a rooftop.
She has been dealing with a lot of issues and is not very well. Hopefully getting professional help will assist her in getting her life back on track. Let’s take stock of what will happen to Chelsea and who is coming to town to help her sort things out.
Keena Ferguson is portraying therapist Jean Davis. She will work with Chelsea Lawson to help her process her life and hopefully come out to the other end.
Keena’s resume is impressive. She played Imani Clarke on Breaking Point (2011 to 2012), Leslie Beckett on Moms (2012 to 2013), and Leslie Davenport on Sistas (2019 to 2020).
There has been no shortage of people trying to help Chelsea as she has exhibited more and more unstable behavior. This includes Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Chelsea has adamantly rejected everyone’s help and insisted that there is nothing wrong with her.
Clearly that is not the case, however. In an attempt to make herself feel better Chelsea demanded to reconnect with her biological son Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind). He is being raised by Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and she broke the news to him after Chelsea insisted that he be told. He did not take the news well that he and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) are brothers whereas they were used to being cousins.
Chelsea threw a wrench into the boys’ lives and now has to deal with the guilt of making the situation worse. Help is on the way, however, in the form of a new professional who in the coming days will assist Chelsea as she takes stock of her life.
