General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) seems to have never-ending plans for the people of Port Charles. Since coming to town, he’s targeted Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and those closest to her from the start, and he’s showing no signs of backing down. The next person in his scope appears to be Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). What could the OBGYN and Co-Chief of GH possibly have to offer Victor though?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Ice Princess

The Ice Princess diamond has been on Victor’s radar for some time now. When Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) planted it in Jennifer Smith’s (Holly Gagnier) room, he was most likely working for Victor at that time. This led to Jennifer taking the fall for the death of Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and the Ice Princess in one fell swoop. Of course, how the diamond came to be shaved down and pieces of it placed into the necklace left in Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) last effects is anyone’s guess. But Victor certainly is eager to come into possession of it now. Will Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) let him?

General Hospital Updates – Cody Bell Is Working For Victor

Cody knows Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is his father, but he was entirely too close to the fortune Victor is chasing to let it slip through his fingers. He may have been working for Victor to get his hands on the necklace Peter left for Britt, but that was before he knew it was a connection to Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia).

Now that Cody actually has a legitimate claim to the necklace — at least in the eyes of everyone else who didn’t see the lab results proving he’s a Scorpio — he just may want to seize that birthright.

Britt Westbourne Needs an Ally

Britt has been getting closer to Cody as of late. So it might come as an unpleasant surprise to her if he comes off as just being in it for the money — or the necklace, so to speak. Britt is struggling a lot right now with the worry that Huntington’s Disease is starting to rear its head while trying to lay to rest any anxiety she has over Peter’s estate. The stress of having ownership of a possibly stolen necklace is another burden she didn’t want to bear. When Cody shows an interest in claiming it, Britt is going to wonder whether that’s what he was after all along, or if his interest in her was ever genuine.
