These two rapscallions have some common interests, with opposition to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) being among them. Adam is currently committed to living a life outside of his father’s shadow, which Tucker complimented him on stepping outside of.

But Adam is a fickle guy. He has plenty of useful information that could be shared or traded with Tucker.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is attempting to confirm that Tucker was connected to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) when she was pretending to be dead and living under an assumed name, Taylor Jensen, in Los Angeles, California. Why those two characters, who have been off-screen for years until recently returning to Genoa City, Wisconsin, were connected remains to be seen.

Tucker lied to Ashley’s face when she asked him about being tied to Diane. He must believe the claimed love of his life will never confirm the truth.

Adam happened to be at Jabot when Tucker stopped by. St. John’s alter ego was on his way to the laboratory. But that set does not exist because Tucker and Ashley crossed paths in the hallway after his conversation with Adam.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) felt compelled to reveal his duplicity. Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) impassioned plea to him at CW’s corporate office caused Nate to tell his sordid power-play story.

In response, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) told Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to stop plans to execute the early IPO. Lily will speak to Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton). They and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will decide on how or if to proceed.

Devon now believes that Tucker was Nate’s contact. That is not true, which Devon should soon understand because Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is teased to offer Nate a position at Newman Enterprises.

However, Audra is Tucker’s contact inside CW. Unless Jill has been secretly working with Tucker, then Audra appears to be Tucker’s mole who intended to facilitate his gaining power or even control of the company.

Adam Newman Has Useful Information

Adam could use Tucker to cause trouble for Victor. That can be accomplished in various ways based on the type of inside information Adam holds.

Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) was recently referenced, which likely made viewers wonder if Adam will eventually serve as a facilitator. Depending upon the situation, Adam may want Tucker to know that Victor was involved in covering up Locke’s death. Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) play for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) motivates Adam not to keep his brother’s secret either which Tucker could also leverage in many ways on Y&R.
