Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady) says Ken Corday called and texted her in February. Kristian was afraid something was wrong and immediately returned his call. Ken informed Kristian that he was calling about Beyond Salem 2. Ken wanted to know if Kristian would be interested in returning and starring in this spinoff. Kristian was hesitant at first but soon changed her mind.

Days Of Our Lives Kristian abruptly left Days when she exited from the original show. Kristian has no plans of returning to Days of Our Lives presently. Kristian also says that he needed to know the story before her return. Kristian admits that it has always been the story that kept her interested in the show and she felt this one was beautiful. Alfonso says the opportunity never came up to return to the show. However, Kristian says this project has been like a love letter to the fans. However, she doesn’t release many details. Kristian says after returning to the show, she did get to be reunited with people she thought of as family. Kristian said it allowed her to say thank you to the crew.

Days Of Our Lives Kristian gushes about every she was reunited with when she returned. Kristian says Drake Hogestyn (John Black) found her on the set and told her how much she was missed. Although Kristian was thrilled to see her old co-stars, she also got to meet Jackee Harry who she had been a fan of for years.

Days of Our Lives Kristian totally enjoyed reuniting with Peter Reckell (Bo Brady). Kristian admits that she is thrilled that Hope wasn’t recast in her absence. Kristian says Hope is a very special character because she has played her the longest. Kristian says she has fought for Hope on so many occasions and thanks to everyone for making her feel so welcome. Kristian was also happy to have the chance for Hope to say a proper goodbye to her daughter Ciara as well. Kristian feels that her quick departure caused that part of the story to be overlooked.

When asked if she would return to Days, Kristian says there are no current plans to do so but she would not be opposed to it if the story was right. Kristian doesn’t want to pop in and out but says she would never say never to a return.
