Abe has been content to be Salem’s mayor for years now, but if one thing is true about Paulina it’s that she thinks big. Look for Paulina to spend the next few weeks convincing Abe that he needs to aim higher in his political aspirations. But does Abe want the same things as his new bride!!

Although the current Governor had no plans to run for another term, he just effectively ended any future in politics he might have had. He was blackmailed by Orpheus (George DelHoyo) into giving pardons to five of Salem’s worst criminals, including Orpheus himself. Whoever takes the Governor’s place will have to deal with the mess that he will leave behind. Abe has a long history in law enforcement and may be the perfect person to bring things back to order.

But Paulina’s recent history might work against them. When Paulina’s ex TR Coates (William Christian) was shot and killed, Paulina lied to the police and said it was her that committed the crime. She was protecting her daughter Lani Price (Sal Stowers) who actually pulled the trigger. Paulina was willing to go to jail but the fact that she hindered a police investigation might work against any chance Abe has of winning an election.

Look for Paulina to pull out all the stops in her bid to get Abe elected as the next Governor. Abe will eventually agree with Paulina’s big aspirations. Looks for Salem’s newest power couple to pull out all the stops as they work together toward a common goal. Abe will be an amazing Governor so hopefully, the two of them can make it happen. That will help to erase the damage the current administration has done by pardoning five of the most dangerous criminals Salem has ever seen.
