Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will say goodbye to Salem in upcoming episodes of DOOL!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Tripp Johnson And Allie Horton Break Up

Previous episodes of DOOL revealed that even though Tripp gave his life to save Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) soul, having received his life back through a miracle, they broke up. Tripp could see that Allie was way too torn between him and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) to make a real lifetime marital commitment to him. Even if they had married and she had stayed true, he couldn’t deal with wondering if she would pretend she was with Chanel when she was with him!

Tripp decides he needs some time away from Salem and decides to visit with his half-siblings Joey and Stephanie Johnson (Tanner Stine, Abigail Klein) for a while. He will be staying there for the summer, and then decide from there what he will do and where he will go.

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Tripp Johnson Just Needs Time Away For A While

Tripp just needs time away for a while to get a fresh start, a reset in his life, and a time to clear his head. There was a good bit of trauma during the time he has been back in Salem, starting with dealing with his late evil half-brother Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning). He never knew he had a half-brother and Allie’s remembering her rape caused him distress because she thought he did it at first, getting her full memory back later. He was happy that his birth mother Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) showed up in town, that way he and she could finally get to know each other. The worst of the trauma he has endured has been during the last several months when the devil got into the details!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers-  Tripp Johnson First Tells Steve And Kayla Johnson

First, Tripp tells Steve and Kayla Johnson (Stephen Nichols, Mary Beth Evans) of his decision, and they react differently; Steve didn’t know Tripp for most of his life. Steve wants to keep his son close and hates to see him leave, but Kayla is fully supportive and understands why he needs some space from Salem. Tripp has been thinking about everyone else and making sure everyone else is ok, being a doctor, now he needs to make sure he’s ok!

After Tripp tells Steve and Kayla, that Allie and Chanel are next – he formed a friendship with Chanel in spite of the awkward situation. Allie had dumped her as AllieDevil after she’d been dumped first by Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) as Johnny DiDevil which had sent her into Allie’s arms!

Next Tripp breaks the news to Allie and Chanel, and Allie wrongly blames herself for his decision to leave town! He calls them to meet him at the hospital which is where he breaks the news of his leaving town, not admitting she’s part of his reason to leave town.

He explains he just needs some time away from Salem to clear his head and to him, it’s like a vacation – he’ll be back. Then finally he tells his mother, Ava; and she is also very supportive of his decision to take some time away and she gives him her blessing!
