The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Adam Goes Against Victor – Alliance With Ashland Useful?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) intends to give his sister enough rope. He wants Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to reconcile with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) so that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be forced to admit her judgment is bad.

Adam believes Victoria has demonstrated she is not fit to run Newman Enterprises. Of course, Adam is blind to his shortcomings and sports a resume that does not compare to his oldest sister’s.

Meanwhile, Ashland remains a thorn in Victor’s side. In contrast, Victoria seems open to her recently annulled husband.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Two Claims Of Redemption Considered

Adam decided to reform himself and seek general redemption after learning what he did as a child in Kansas. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) served in a big-brother role during the period in the plot, with Adam’s resulting efforts being sincere.

However, Adam does not equate his own claimed transformation with what Ashland intends. Grossman’s character sees Ashland as a threat to the family business.

Yet, Ashland did fall in love with Victoria and does want to spend the rest of his life with her. So, it is fair to argue that Ashland is being far more honest than Adam when it comes to redemption.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Victor Newman Will Not Be Crossed

Victor paid a half-billion dollars to back Adam’s impulse plan to get rid of Ashland. So the Moustache will be furious when he determines what Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are planning.

Their scheme to cajole Victoria and Ashland into getting back together is on hold while Heinle’s character is away on a brief trip. Adam and Sally will plant whatever seeds they can while she is away, seemingly not realizing that luring the snake back to the pit is extremely risky.

But the greater risk is Victor learning what Adam and Sally are attempting. Both could find themselves out of work rather than ascending to the thrones they envision for themselves.

Ashland Locke Sure To Recognize The Game

Ashland is sharper than Adam because he has lived longer and played more business games. Any attempt to pitch an alliance between Adam and Ashland will be highly suspect.

Along with the above, Victoria knows her youngest brother can not be trusted. She has been on guard since he arrived in Genoa City, Wisconsin in 2008.

The timing of Victor and Ashland realizing what is happening is important. If Victor recognizes Adam’s intent first, it will be possible to thwart it. Ashland’s reaction is unpredictable if he recognizes what is happening first, with a tell to Victoria likely and the resulting fallout on Y&R.
