While Steffy eventually became addicted to painkillers, she had Finn’s support, not just Liam’s. B&B fans, who wanted to see Steffy break past the tortured triangle, realized what seemed to be an enduring goal, with the Finn love story unfolding.

Then, suddenly, fiendish Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) wrecks the ideal by killing her son when she intended to shoot Steffy. Finn’s loss is profound and likely means Liam will feel compelled to offer extra, indefinite support for Steffy.

Hope Spencer Has To Put Her Foot Down

Hope is arguably the better match for Liam. If that is true, she will put her foot down very soon.

Rather than go along with whatever Liam wants to do for Steffy, Hope should set ground rules and hold him to them. Hope needs to tell Liam that she will not allow him to become Steffy’s crutch. If he does, a separation will happen.

Liam has responded to stern words in the past. Hope has demonstrated the ability to protect her marriage. Hope has to look out for her marriage and immediate family, regardless of whatever the Forresters may feel.

Hope must tell Liam what her reasonable rules are. He will have the option of following them. But Hope must impose consequences if Liam strays so that he knows she means business.
