Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that the list of Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) crimes has grown exponentially the longer she stays in Salem. She came to town as Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) and it was a while before her real purpose for being in Salem was revealed. Eventually, it was revealed that Gwen is Jack Devereaux’s (Matthew Ashford) illegitimate daughter. Gwen hated her half-sister Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) for having the life that Gwen felt she was denied.

Gwen went to Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) for help. Rolf provided Gwen with a drug that he promised would “melt Abigail’s brain”. Gwen drugged Abigail’s glass of champagne and almost immediately, Abigail began experiencing hallucinations. She couldn’t distinguish her visions from reality and had to be sent to an out-of-state treatment facility. But much to Gwen’s surprise, Abigail eventually recovered and returned home.

Gwen continued her vendetta against Abigail. When So when Abigail began to investigate the disappearance of Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Sarah had been romantically involved with Xander Cook (Paul Tefler). After Sarah disappeared, Xander fell in love with Gwen. Gwen worried that if Sarah returned, she would lose Xander so she helped to kidnap Abigail, even knocking her half-sister herself. And then when Sarah did return, Gwen dosed her with a second dose of Rolf’s drug, possibly ending any chance Sarah would have of recovery!

Gwen has gone mostly unpunished for her crimes. Abigail finally got the evidence she needed to expose all of Gwen’s crimes. Seeing Gwen finally behind bars will be a great relief to Abigail who has suffered so much at Gwen’s hands. But this will also mean that Gwen’s animosity toward Abigail will only increase. If Gwen does manage to get out of prison, she will take no prisoners and Abigail may very well pay with her life!
