Ashland was labeled ruthless and responsible for Michael being held captive in Peru. That came after Michael seemingly discovered that Ashland bribed various people to support his cancer claim.

Kevin told Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that he holds Ashland fully responsible for his brother’s suffering. Viewers know that Kevin’s past threats against enemies have resulted in bad outcomes.

The Young And The Restless Updates – The Newman Clan Is Mad

Victor and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) do not often agree on business. But they both want Ashland out of Newman-Locke.

They, along with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), also want Ashland out of Victoria Newman Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) life. Victor has a plan in case his oldest daughter’s efforts fail.

The Newman’s are right to be mad at Ashland. Unless he can conclusively clear his name, the character Newman was recast to play intentionally conned Victoria with the intent of not only merging his company with Newman Enterprises but also taking it over.

Victoria Newman Locke Is Clever

Whether Victoria is clever enough to outmaneuver her husband is yet to be seen. Choosing to go to Tuscany, Italy, with Ashland feels extremely risky but is geared to reveal him.

Ashland seems to believe that Victoria has retained her faith in him. With that, viewers know that he will likely catch on to her veiled drive.

There is no way to know how far Ashland will be willing to go once he determines that Victoria is trying to trap him. But Ashland has seemingly underestimated his wife’s capacity for reprisal as well.
