The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Tries To Get Rid Of Ashland Locke

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has brought the family together in an effort to get rid of the Locke Ness Monster and protect Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) that Adam, too was requested to help. Even though Adam and Victoria don’t necessarily get along that well, she is his sister and he recognizes she’s married a real monster – even Adam wouldn’t have stooped so low as his worst self to fake a terminal disease! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Adam all too happy to give getting rid of Ashland Locke a shot, and he thinks he knows what might get him to leave! Adam resorts to some of his old tricks, namely threats and a little blackmail, to see if that will give Ashland a push in the right direction and send him on a long walk off a short pier! Adam decides to try and hit Ashland where it hurts – by guilt-tripping him over what little Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) might think were he to find out what Ashland really is!

Viewers of The Young and The Restless can guess that Locke has done many worse things in his life than Adam ever thought of doing; Ashland Locke is not afraid of Adam! Ashland has dealt with many of the worst human beings in the world and his life has been in danger because of them, including the leaders of several countries, so Adam is nothing! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see that Ashland doesn’t consider Adam even remotely in his league with the worst things he’s heard Adam’s done, although he maintains a healthy respect for his father Victor! Ashland considers Adam like a pesky fly he keeps having to swat away from his face on a picnic, nothing more, nothing less and he barely listens to him until he brings up Harrison!

Adam Newman Threatens Bad Publicity, Which May Reach Harrison Locke’s Little Ears

Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that Adam would know how bad publicity about himself could threaten or frighten his own son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), and so he decides to try the bad dad guilt trip on Locke! Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that Adam had to keep the truth about Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Ordway) setting him up for the attempted murder of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) from Connor.

So he presents Locke with a scenario – a scenario of bad publicity concerning the lies and the fraud that Locke has perpetrated, and the exposure of what his father really is could reach Harrison’s ears! This time, Locke perks up and threatens Adam; he tells him not to ever talk to him about his son again, and it’s a line that cannot be crossed! Nothing Adam does will be received by Locke as anything more than a tactic – and will be responded to accordingly!
