General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Sasha Continues To Avoid Mourning The Death Of Her Son!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has to face a woman’s worth nightmare. Late last year, Sasha gave birth to a baby boy, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha was thrilled that it was finally time to become a family. But tragedy struck leaving Sasha and Brando no choice but to take their newborn son off life support when it was revealed he couldn’t breathe on his own. Their son’s death devastated both of them right as the holidays approached. Brando and Sasha planned to mourn their son’s death together. But as the new year began, the two of them found themselves in very different places.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brando Corbin Took The Time To Miss His Son!

Brando took the time necessary to grieve his son’s death, and even sought out a therapist. Brando seems to be managing better than Sasha. Brando revealed that he and Sasha haven’t spoken much since they left the hospital. And that Sasha had already planned to return to work. While Brando would never tell Sasha what to do, he has voiced on several occasions that he isn’t sure she is dealing with her grief at all.

General Hospital Updates – Sasha Gilmore Is Back At Deception!

For Sasha’s part, she felt she couldn’t just lay around feeling sorry for herself any longer. No amount of crying was going to bring her son back so she went back to work at Deception. Sasha’s friends were all concerned with Sasha’s choice, and both Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) asked Sasha if that’s really the way she wanted to handle things. But Sasha assured them that the best thing she can do for herself and her son is to move on. Although unsure whether Sasha was being honest with herself, the ladies let it go.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore May Be Back On Drugs!

Before Sasha and Brando became a couple, Sasha also found herself struggling. After she purposefully broke up with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) so he could marry Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) Sasha was devastated. At that point, she turned to drugs to cope. Drug pusher Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) used Sasha to test out a new drug he was putting on the market and Sasha almost died. With Brando’s help, Sasha became well again, and that’s when they got together. If Sasha is once again using drugs to forget her pain, it won’t be long before her problems will multiply. Sasha may not survive if someone doesn’t intervene.
