Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that the devil wakes up comatose Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). The devil has a job for Jan to do, which is to cause trouble for Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison). Jan considers it a huge opportunity and considers Satan to be her new BFF. The actress explained what fans can expect from the devilish duo.

Exposing ‘MarDevil’

DOOL spoilers reveal that the devil has gotten away. At least, for the time being. After John Black (Drake Hogestyn), Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), and Shawn are powerless to stop Marlena Evans aka “MarDevil” (Deidre Hall), she heads to the hospital. “MarDevil” knocks out Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and goes into Jan’s hospital room.

DOOL Spoilers: Waking Up Jan Spears

When the devil wakes up Jan, she is confused. However, once Jan learns that it’s not Marlena she’s speaking to, but Satan himself, she gets really excited. Actress Heather Lindell told Soap Opera Digest that Jan thinks that doing the devil’s dirty work is a big opportunity for her and Lucifer could possibly be her new BFF.

Tricking Shawn Brady

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the devil wants Jan to cause trouble for Shawn and Belle. Jan is more than happy to do this and even gets some help making sure the scheme works. The devil turns Jan into Belle’s twin. The plan is for Jan to seduce Shawn and get him into bed. Jan would love to cause Belle pain, especially on their first wedding anniversary. As for Shawn, Jan is more than ready to get intimate with him. Even after all this time, Jan is still obsessed with the Salemite. Lindell explained,

“There’s no part of her that feels guilty that she’s inhabiting somebody else’s body. That really doesn’t play any kind of part in her mind. If Jan had these powers, this kind of thing would be happening all the time. Which is why it’s such a fortunate situation for her.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Ignoring Gut Instinct

When Jan tricks Shawn into meeting up, he gets a weird feeling. During the seduction, Shawn’s gut is telling him something isn’t right. Madison told SOD,

“There are a couple of moments where he goes, ‘Why would you say that? Why would you do that?’ Something in his gut is telling him not to proceed. So Jan, as Belle, has to really convince him that this is just about celebrating their anniversary.”

Despite all the drama, Belle promised Shawn they would find a way to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. So, Shawn proceeds and sleeps with Jan. Imagine his horror when the real Belle walks in the door!
