The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) has been getting up in his wife’s hair these days sending glowing reports about how great Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is doing away from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). The good detective is Chelsea’s escort while she helps her mom Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach) recuperate from hip surgery.
Rey is maybe a bit too enthusiastic for his own good as he could be pushing Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) right back into Adam’s waiting arms.
To show what a great guy Rey is, he has forgiven Chelsea for sickening him with rat poison.
That was yesterday, and today is a brand new beginning! But maybe Rey should reconsider being so gung-ho about a woman who is capable of such nefarious deeds.
He should definitely be wary of leaving Shadam all alone and to their own devices. While the cat’s away the mice will play!
Will Chelsea even return to Genoa City? She and her husband Matt Katrosar are expecting their first child in August. Egan recently posted pics of a baby shower thrown by her castmates, and she will be going on maternity leave. By all accounts, we should see her back in person and not just on video in the fall or early winter.
Which means that Rey could be gone for a while. And if that is the case it will only play right into Adam’s hands in regard to regaining Sharon for his own.
While Sharon is married to Rey, she can’t help but wonder what could have been with Adam.
That is particularly true after he saved her daughter and ex’s life in heroics that signal a new Adam is in town. He has been a bad boy in the past and that has caused lots of grief for Sharon. If Adam is truly changed, will he be the catnip that Sharon can’t resist?
