According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, the first thing Chelsea does is go to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). She asks him for a favor, as she’s hoping that he can help her. What’s more, she’s had a hell of a year and she’s missed her son terribly.

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actress Melissa Claire Egan, who plays Chelsea on the hit CBS soap, teases this: “She pretty much begs Adam to let her bring Connor with her. She’s missed so much time with him that she’s never going to get back, plus she knows that he misses his grandma. Then it turns into his debate with Adam.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that ultimately, Adam says no, which leaves Chelsea absolutely devastated. Egan adds, “Adam has all of the power right now and controls how much time Chelsea spends with Connor. She needs his permission, so she’s hoping he changes his mind before she goes.”

However, things then turn for the worst when Chelsea finds out that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gets involved. And seeing how Chelsea is certainly on Eric’s you-know-what list right now, there’s no way that he’s going to help her get her son back.
