The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that while Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has been desperate to get her husband back, she didn’t expect to see this other ex-husband instead! As much as she wants Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) to come back to Genoa City again, the blonde beauty will get the surprise of her life when other past love shows up at her doorway: Dr. Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn (Sean Carrigan). According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Abby is caught off guard when Stitch should up at the Chancellor’s mansion. While Stitch is certainly happy to see Abby again, as the two of them have a lot of great memories together, Abby is not sure what to make of all of this.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Stitch will confess to Abby that the last time he’s felt great about himself and his life was when she was with him. He will bring her a present for her unborn child and updates her on his son Max, who is living in a long-term care facility following his unsuccessful brain surgery. Stitch tells Abby that unfortunately, things are not looking good for Max.

The Young And The Restless Updates – What’s Next For Abby Newman?

Actor Sean Carrigan, who plays Stitch on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way to the publication, “It’s been tough on him to see the condition of his child worsen. When Stitch says that he has to leave, he tells Abby that it was wonderful to see her again and they share a close moment. I think Stitch is coming from a place of care and concern because of what they went through together. Deep down, he still loves her very much.”

The only problem, of course, is that Stitch doesn’t know if that feeling is mutual. Needless to say, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out!
