According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, while Chelsea is plotting her next move against Adam, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) pays her a visit. Clearly, she is surprised when she sees him and can’t help but wonder what he wants.

Speaking to publication in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Head Writer and Co-Executive Producer Josh Griffith teases, “Victor reminds Chelsea that she must keep up appearances if she expects their plan to work. Victor makes it very clear that if she doesn’t cooperate, he has the power to make sure her stay at the facility becomes a permanent one. Chelsea keeps her guard up with Victor but his words encourage her to continue to play the game.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chelsea then learns that the restraining order against Adam has been lifted and that he can see their son Connor again. Of course, she is absolutely furious over the news. The last thing she wants is to see Adam get anywhere near their son, who she has tried to protect from him for the longest time.

Griffith adds, “Chelsea feels it’s completely unfair that Adam gets to spend time with Connor while she is stuck in the facility once again. She believes that Adam has outsmarted her, for now. However, Chelsea will spend her time wisely as she works to get released and plot her next move against Adam.”
