The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Get Ready To Travel To Fantasy Island This Summer!

Fox TV is creating an all-new version of Fantasy Island for summer 2021. The original primetime TV show took place on a fabulous tropical island resort, featuring a mysterious man named Mr. Roarke, portrayed by Ricardo Montalban. He succeeded in transforming the desires and dreams of his wealthy guests into reality, assisted by Hervé Villechaize as his assistant Tattoo.

Since the original Fantasy Island began its run on January 28, 1978, the reboot’s writer-producers Liz Craft and Sarah Fain will face challenges in keeping the magic while upgrading the production value to meet contemporary viewers’ expectations.

Sony Pictures TV, Gemstone Studios, and Fox Entertainment will team up to, we hope, make Fantasy Island fulfill viewers’ dreams. The reboot will feature three primary characters, with The Bold And The Beautiful star Kiara Barnes taking on one of those roles and John Gabriel Rodriquez playing another.

In the 2021 version of Fantasy Island, Kiara’s and John’s characters live and work on the island. They will greet new guests in each episode.

Barnes has been given the role of Ruby Okoro. This character is described as a youthful woman struggling with a terminal illness. However, through the magic of Roarke and the island itself, Ruby has a second chance at life.

Rodriquez will take on the role of Javier, who heads up transportation on the Fantasy Island reboot. From pilot to a mechanic, Javier can do it all… but will he pay an emotional price for the chance to stay on the island?
