It seems like no matter how hard Amanda tries to run away from her past, her past always has a way of creeping up with her.

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Co-Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith puts it this way, “Sutton’s impromptu visit gives Amanda the opportunity to unleash a lifetime of hurt to the person who is responsible for Naya giving up her babies. Amanda is surprised at Sutton’s lack of regret as he attempts to justify his actions.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sutton maintains that his daughter’s decision to give away her twins was ultimately her own and that he didn’t have much of a say in it. With that said though, Amanda is shocked when she finds out that her grandfather has been keeping tabs on her and her sister this entire time. And even though Sutton says that he means well, Amanda is not sure if she should trust him or anything he says for that matter.
