The week of March 1, 2021 there is news that a fan fave returns to her role. Amanda Setton is back from maternity leave and returns as Brook Lynn Quartermaine. She will be seen in Port Charles later this month.

While Sutten was on leave, actress Briana Lane stepped in for Setton and had some pretty meaty storylines to deal with including getting slashed by a psycho and possibly becoming the mother of a future Cassadine villain. She was last seen in November of 2020 when BLQ left town wondering if she could be pregnant. Who will she name as the father of her baby if indeed she is with child?

Bonnie Burroughs is back as everyone’s favorite wackadoodle mom, Gladys Corbin. What will she have to say about her son Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) complicated situation?

We will see her soon and no doubt there will be plenty of eyerolls when she flies into town on her broom.

When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was still presumed to be alive, he and fellow mobster Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) fought over their territory. As Sonny’s cousin, Brando ws conveniently offered up as a pawn to try and get some info on Cyrus’ operation.

The idea was for him to pretend to hate Sonny and need a job. Viola, it worked and he became Cyrus’ semi-skilled body guard who managed to cause more trouble than he solved. He’s now in the hospital and out of commission which was a planned thing by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who shot him in the leg—what are friends for?

Will Gladys show up with chicken soup for her sonny boy? Maybe she’ll demand some more moolah from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) now that Sonny is out of the picture?
