The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) knows about Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) trying to seduce Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz). After getting caught, Zoe is trying to fix her fractured romance. In an interview, the actress explains Zoe’s double-mindedness, if she was ever really interested in Zende, and why she hurt Carter.

B&B spoilers reveal that Zoe looked like she was on a better path after losing everything. However, we started to see another shift when Zende entered the picture. She was dating Carter and soon her flirtation with Zende turned into a desperate seduction attempt. SoapCentral asked Barnes about Zoe’s double-mindedness. Was she ever really interested in Zende? The actress explained that Zende represents freedom. With him, there’s no risk of getting hurt because she can walk away anytime.

Extreme Insecurity

Barnes seems to think that Zoe truly does love Carter. However, fans are having a hard time buying that based on her actions. The actress explained that the model is extremely insecure, especially when it comes to relationships.

“I believe Zoe is incredibly insecure about marriage, love, and overall trust. Many of her relationships have come crashing down right when she becomes her most vulnerable… her first-ever engagement/marriage ended up being a complete hoax. That was very painful for Zoe… There’s been a lot of pressure on her, and I think it’s had a huge toll on her, mentally and physically.”

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Fear Of Love Led To Carter Walton’s Heartbreak

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Carter was head over heels in love with Zoe. He treated her like a queen and she could pretty much have anything she asked for. He’s also incredibly handsome, a real gentleman, kind, and generous. He’s basically the perfect man! So, why would Zoe risk hurting him after he treated her like gold? Barnes seems to think that Zoe’s past heartbreaks led to her not only being scared of commitment, but suspicious of love.

Zoe Buckingham Has Issues

Barnes tries to look at all characters, even villains, as people who have redeeming qualities in there somewhere. She feels the same way about Zoe. Yes, what she did to Carter was terrible. How she treats and blames her own sister, Paris Buckingham (Diamon White) is awful. However, soap characters are often redeemed and it’s likely we will see that in the future. As for how Barnes would “fix” Zoe, she thinks toxic and damaging behavior is a vicious cycle if left untreated. She thinks that Zoe has serious trauma from her past and needs therapy, as well as time to truly find herself. However, the actress indicated that won’t be happening anytime soon.
