The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) Spoilers: Paternity Test Reversal Before Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s Maternity Leave?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s (Steffy Forrester) paternity leave appears to have just occurred. Buzz indicates that Tanner Novlan (John Finnegan) has begun filming scenes without Wood. 

So, it’s fair to wonder if Finn will be revealed as the real father of Steffy’s baby in the coming weeks? If so, that would establish a plausible out for both characters for an extended period of time. If not, then other believable scenes can be written that allow for Steffy to be off-screen for a handful of months until Wood returns to B&B.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – If Liam Spencer Still Calls Himself The Dad

B&B, like the other soap operas, generally record advanced episodes approximately a month in advance. Shows were rushed to air last summer, following the production shutdown. But as protocol efforts have become routine, a more standard film-to-air schedule has returned to form.

Let’s assume that a paternity reveal won’t happen in the next month-plus when shows would begin airing without Wood as a regular cast member. That means Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) would still believe that he is the father of Steffy’s child.

In the above scenario, Steffy would be months away from delivering. So, if the paternity stays as is, then she might simply want some time away to avoid the ongoing stress that exists between Finn, Liam, and possibly Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) as well.

If John Finnegan Is Stunned By Fatherhood

The more upbeat scenario would have a reveal of the manipulated, or botched paternity test results. As of now, it strongly appears that Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero) had someone purposely alter the test results so that Liam would be identified as the father.

Vinny’s intention would be to help his friend, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). But the manipulation fail would be revealed, stunning Finn. Steffy and the actual father would be overjoyed and then get away for a while to celebrate their realized family plan.

If manipulation didn’t happen, then a human error or computer glitch is another explanation that could be offered to explain mistaken test results.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Steffy Forrester Calls The Shots

Steffy is trying to take control of what’s happening. She appreciates the drama that’s swirling around this matter but is determined to stop Finn and Liam’s rivalry from becoming a daily part of her life.

Protecting the development of the child she’s carrying is paramount. So, with whatever was known by the characters when Wood took maternity leave, Steffy has and will determine what’s best for the baby and act accordingly no matter what Finn, Liam, or anyone else’s thinks.
