Now a new touring exhibition is getting ready to make its debut in 2022, perfect for Harry Potter fans from all over the world.
The new adventure for fans is dubbed Harry Potter: The Exhibition. This will be an immersive Wizarding World experience that is currently under development by Imagine Exhibitions in partnership with Warner Bros. The exhibition will tour the world for international fans to see and enjoy.
The exhibition is to celebrate the most iconic moments in the stories and films of Harry Potter, as well as Fantastic Beasts and the expanded Wizarding World. It will be an immersive, behind-the-scenes experience, to offer a truly authentic and enjoyable time for all.
Harry Potter: The Exhibition is set to tour in a number of regions around the world, including Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, Latin America, North America, and the Middle East.
The exhibition will consist of specially crafted environments with a total footprint of between 10,000 sq ft (929 sq m) and 20,000 sq ft (1,858 sq m). The environments will honor the beloved characters, beasts, and settings seen in the movies. However, it will also explore the filmmaking magic that brought them to life on the big screen.
Touring the exhibition, visitors will see original costumes and authentic props from the Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts films, while engaging with the environments and installations along the way.
The Harry Potter exhibition will connect all aspects of the magical realm of the famous Wizarding World. This will cover the seven novels by J.K. Rowling that have sold more than 500 million copies internationally. It also includes the eight Harry Potter movies and the Tony and Olivier award-winning stage show, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The exhibition will also feature the first two of the five-part Fantastic Beasts movie series.
Speaking of the Harry Potter: The Exhibition, Tom Zaller, CEO of Imagine Exhibitions said in a statement, “We are honored to be entrusted with the iconic Harry Potter brand and excited to develop and share an exhibition experience that celebrates the magic of the Wizarding World,” and “We look forward to working with world-class partners, promoters, and sponsors to bring an all-new Harry Potter: The Exhibition to fans around the globe,” he added.
