General Hospital Spoilers: Sydney Mikayla Excited to be Back on ‘Craig of the Creek’

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sydney Mikayla plays teen Trina Robinson on the ABC sudser but she also has a voice role on the animated series Craig of the Creek. She recently posted a message to fans of the show on social media letting them know she is on the episode that airs January 18.

She posted, “Yay! Can’t wait to see tomorrow’s episode. I love voicing the role of Maya. She’s fierce! Tune in.”

You can catch the exiting series on Cartoon Network and the episode Mikayla referenced is described as: “Craig returns to the Creek after the long Winter Break but discovers that everything has changed!”

Craig of the Creek was developed by Matt Burnett and Ben Levin. The show’s pilot episode debuted on December 1, 2017 and the series premiered online on February 19, 2018.

On August 15, 2018, it was announced that it was renewed for a second season which premiered on March 18, 2019 and on July 15, 2019 it was announced that it was renewed for a third season which premiered on June 21, 2020.

The show takes place in the fictional town of Herkleton, Maryland and features a boy named Craig Williams and his two friends, Kelsey Pokoly and John Paul “J.P.” Mercer. The boys have tons of adventures in a nearby creek, where tree forts and dirt bike ramps rule the day.

Mikayla voices Maya in the cute series. On GH she portrays Trina Robinson, a troubled teen who doesn’t seem to be happy now that her presumed dead dad is back in the land of the living. Why is that?

Her dad, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) was presumed dead after being shot in a mob war. He sent his daughter out for some candy while in his hospital bed and when she returned he was “dead.” His death was faked to protect her from mob enemy Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) but somehow she is more angry than she is happy.

As time goes on however she is sure to come to her senses and be grateful at the sacrifice her dad made for her. Currently Marcus is in jail due to him being unsafe from Cyrus’ clutches.

Fun fact: Andrews is set to star in an upcoming project with GH costars Maurice Benard and Ian Buchanan.
