As a matter of fact, the youngest members of the royal family seem to have the most to say these days as there’s a new report that says George and Charlotte have been sending Charles ‘chatty’ videos while on lockdown. Here’s what you need to know.
Late last month Prince Charles revealed that he was the first member of the British royal family to have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. As a result, he was forced to self-isolate at his estate at Balmoral Castle for seven days. But that didn’t stop his ‘chatty’ grandchildren from sending him videos and calling him throughout the day while he was in isolation.
Apparently, George and Charlotte make phone calls quite often as their mother Kate Middleton wants to make sure that they keep in touch and communicate as often as possible with their relatives, including Queen Elizabeth herself.
According to Britain’s The Sun, one person close to the situation puts it this way, “Kate Middleton ensures that Prince George, Princess Charlotte & Prince Louis speak to the Queen, known as ‘GAN GAN’ and Prince Philip as often as possible. The older two talk on the telephone or send chatty videos to Windsor. Prince Charles is also very much in touch with the Cambridge trio. They do like to chat away to Grandpa Charles and get lots of very helpful tips from him on animals and flowers, and speak to him about lambs, squirrels, highland cattle etc.”
Right now, Prince William, Kate Middleton and their family are currently isolating at home. Queen Elizabeth, meanwhile, is at Windsor Castle and will reportedly be there for the coming weeks or until the coronavirus outbreak subsides. As of press time, there have been over 1.3 million people from over 150 countries that have tested positive for coronavirus. The death toll has reached 74,697. That number is expected to rise in the coming weeks.
