We can never have too much watermelon and kiwi in our house. My 7-year-old daughter and 3-year-old twins could live on these fruits all day long. So, when the summer comes along I whip up these simple, yet tasty ice pops. The pops are also great to make with youngsters, who will most definitely enjoy sitting outside in the warm summer sun to indulge in their creation.
Ingredients
1 Kiwi, cut into small pieces
3 Tbsp of Lemonade (if needed)
1 cup of Watermelon, cut into 1 inch pieces
Directions
1. Blend each fruit in a blender until smooth. If you’d like the kiwi to be a little more smooth, add the lemonade. One tablespoon at a time. The watermelon does not require any additional liquid.
2. Process the watermelon until it’s completely smooth.
3. Freeze the watermelon first, once that is set add the kiwi. Wait about 45 minutes until you’re able to add the Popsicle stick into the watermelon juice.
