Here’s How Meghan Markle Will ‘Americanize’ Little Archie Harrison

Even though he is a member of the British royal family, it looks like Meghan Markle has plans to raise her newborn son Archie Harrison as an American, too. In fact, sources say that the Duchess of Sussex plans on incorporating her American roots with centuries of British royal protocol to give Archie a childhood like no other. Here’s what you need to know.

According to reports, Meghan will do her best to combine royal traditions with her own family traditions, which includes her African-American heritage. Meghan’s new job might be that of a Princess of the United Kingdom, but there’s no way that she is going to forget her California roots. With her mother Doria Ragland by her side, Meghan is going to make sure that Archie grows up in not only a very loving environment but one that is also very natural and organic, too. Friends have even said that they definitely see Meghan as a person who will make her own baby food in her royal kitchen in the future!

What’s more, there’s also a very good chance that Archie will have plenty of trips to Los Angeles ahead of him. Even though he will most likely participate in many royal engagements and public appearances with his parents, Meghan will want the young tot to visit his grandmother back in L.A. and of course all of Meghan’s closest friends in Hollywood, too.

“For Meghan, it’s just as important for Archie to learn about her family history as it is for him to learn about his royal ancestors,” a source recently told Us Weekly in an interview, “so she plans to go on a trip to L.A. with him once she’s comfortable taking him on a plane.”

Many royal experts also believe that Archie will have dual citizenship, which means that he will be the first member of the monarchy who will be eligible to possibly take the throne one day and be President of the United States, too. Of course, the odds are slim but it’s good to know that Archie has plenty of options already!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently enjoying their new life as a family of three at home in Frogmore Cottage. Meghan is expected to head back to work once her maternity leave is over later on this summer.
