Goldie Hawn Was Front And Center While Kate Hudson Delivered Baby Number Three

It looks like Kate Hudson had her mother, Goldie Hawn, by her side while she was giving birth to her third child, Rani Rose, last October. As a matter of fact, the Hollywood actress said that she gave her famous mother a second chance in the delivery room as she apparently “annoyed” her while she delivered her first two sons, Ryder and Bingham.

While guest hosting the Ellen DeGeneres Show, both Kate and Goldie opened up about Kate’s birth experience when she delivered little Rani Rose, her first daughter with her current partner, Danny Fujikawa. Kate gave Goldie permission to be in the delivery room as long as she “behaved” according to the blonde beauty. That’s because during the last birth Kate got annoyed when Goldie kept on eating her lunch in the delivery room.

And even though the Hollywood veteran didn’t have her lunch with her this time around, she did try to get rather up close and personal with her granddaughter so much so that Kate’s doctor had to tell her to step back.

Goldie recalled,

“The doctor was like this, leaning down, doing the thing, with the baby, I’m trying to look over his shoulder, and I see the head and I’m going, ‘Oh, there’s the head!’ And then it went back. And he said, ‘Goldie, if you get any closer, you are going to fall in.’ So I took my cue. I didn’t get that much closer.”
