Send a rainbow lunch. Pack their lunch with the colors of the rainbow. Red grapes, green kiwi, orange cheese, and other fun simple snacks that represent the colors of the rainbow. This is a great fun way to give them a fun bento style lunch they will love.

Go on a scavenger hunt for the pot of gold. Hide a small black kettle with gold chocolate coins in your home. Create fun clues to send your kids on a scavenger hunt for the pot of gold. This can be a great way to get them excited about St. Patrick’s Day and being your own leprechaun.

Attend local parades or celebrations. There are often fun holiday celebrations that are family friendly. Check your local community calendar for events at kids museums, local restaurants or other community event centers.

Serve rainbow cookies or cake with dinner. There are tons of ways to make rainbow colored desserts. Layered gelatin, rainbow cakes, cookies or even puddings are all fun and easy to make. This is a great way to end your special day in a fun way.
