The Cake Reveal

Why not give your party guests a treat as you reveal your babies’ genders? Bake two different cakes — one for each of your twins. For each one, pop in some food coloring that signifies the baby’s gender; blue for a boy and pink for a girl. Then ice the cakes in a neutral color so your guests can’t guess ahead of time. When you cut each cake, all will be revealed.

The Guessing Game

If you want to make things super interactive for your guests, why not make a game of things? You can get your guests to vote three ways — two girls, two boys, or one of each. Create a ballot box and then count up all the right answers. Every guest who is right gets a special prize. Genius!

The Treasure Hunt

The best part about this idea is that you get to have a dual treasure hunt. You can create a trail of clues that lead your guests to a treasure box — well, actually two boxes! Inside each box, it will say either ‘boy’ or ‘girl’. Set two separate trails and split the group into two teams. That way, the guests will only know the gender of one baby and will have to compare their results with the other team.

The Balloons Reveal

Everything is better with balloons! One of the best ways in which you can share this news is by getting colorful balloons and putting them in two separate boxes. (Again, pink for a girl and blue for a boy!) Mark each box either Baby A or Baby B. Then, when the time is right, release the balloons for all the guests to see.
