Christian Bale Breakfast’s With Son Joseph

Christian Bale was photographed out for breakfast with his son Joseph in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (Dec. 17)

The Big Short actor was dressed casually in a grey shirt, a zip-up sweater and black cargo pants with sneakers. He carried the youngster on his hip while leaving the local eatery. 

Bale has said that he gets no greater joy than being a father.  

“Think about how strange and unfortunate it would be for my daughter if I couldn’t just be a dad. You shouldn’t make your children suffer because of choices you make… I get no greater joy than when I’m looking at my daughter and her friends when they’re laughing their asses off,” he told Australian GQ in 2012. “Movies are great but when I look back, it’s the time with my family I’m going to remember. That’s the source of character.”

He is also parent to daughter to 11-year-old Emmeline. 

The star is married to Sibi Blazic. 

They tied the knot in 2000.
