Micheal Phelps biggest fan is his son Boomer!
On the same day his dad was set to swim in the Men’s 4x100m freestyle relay at the Rio Olympics, a new shot of the 3-month-old baby boy decked out in stars and stripes gear was posted to the Instagram account under his name.
“I’m ready to see some more fast swimming!!Go get em daddy!!! Go get em USA!!! #usa #rio2016,” the shot of the smiling baby was captioned presumably by his mom and Phelps fiancée Nicole Johnson.
Phelps and Johnson welcomed their first-born in May.
The couple confirmed the news with a sweet family shot via Instagram.
Phelps is set to swim three more races – the mens 200m butterfly on Monday, the 200m individual medley on Wednesday, and finally the 100m medley on Thursday.
