The Boppy® Newborn Lounger Makes Baby Happy & Life Easier

My twin girls, Ella & Rose were born six weeks ago and my family is in the process of adjusting to the big change. Life changed a lot when I became a mom for the first time back in 2011, but not as much as now! The weeks following the birth of my daughter, Ava was a breeze, in retrospect! She was an easy baby and I was able to give her my undivided attention. Now, each day is a balancing act of meeting all the needs of the babies along with Ava, who has had mommy to herself for almost five years.

I’m lucky in one respect because the twins are totally in-sync when it comes to eating and sleeping. Unfortunately, this convenience also comes with two babies that love to scream at the same time! Having more than two hands would be great right about now! It’s almost impossible to handle two crying babies at the same time and extra helping hands aren’t always available.

I credit the Boppy® Newborn Lounger as making my life a little easier during these early days. A must product for newborns, the lounger is designed for baby’s awake time and is the perfect place for wee ones to coo and kick in comfort. The lounger fits babies up to 16 pounds and the fabric is wipeable, so it is easy-to-clean spit-up and other newborn messes. My babies have the French Rose fabric style, but parents can choose from three additional styles – Geo, Sunday Stroll & Elephant Love.

When it comes down to those crying times, I pull out our Boppy® Newborn Lounger and place one baby  on it. This allows me to keep one of the twins close and comforted while I take care of the other. The lounger is also uniquely designed with a recessed interior that fits the shape of a newborn’s body perfectly. This means if things are really crazy, I can feed the baby sitting in the lounger at the same time as the one in my hands.

I love that the Boppy® Newborn Lounger is lightweight and is equipped with a carry handle. This makes it extremely portable and a great product to throw in the car when making a house visit. My family and friends don’t have bouncers or playpens, so the lounger is a life saver for us. Believe me when I say it gets tiring to hold a baby in your arms for two hours! The lounger also allows for babies to interact with onlookers while having a place to relax while not at home.

I defineltey recommend the Boppy® Newborn Lounger to parents of newborns – either singleton or multiples! You can find it for sale at BabiesRUS, Target and the Boppy Shop

Be sure to visit Boppy for more information on their products. Don’t forget follow the brand on FacebookTwitterInstagram, Youtube and Pinterest too.
