The holidays are right around the corner, and we’re all scrambling to find the perfect gifts for our loved ones on our shopping lists. Little boys can be the most difficult to shop for, especially if you are like me and always want to find “the perfect gift.” I refuse to just wrap up a generic video game or sweater and give it to my 8 year old nephew Jayden – I take pride in the fact that the gifts I give come from the heart and had a lot of thought put in to them. However, finding the “perfect gift” is much easier said than done.
This year, I found the most amazing gift for my 8 year old nephew. Jayden is a boy’s boy – he loves everything superhero related. He has all the Marvel movies, an entire superhero wardrobe and an impressive comic book collection for an 8 year old. His favorite superhero is Spiderman, but Iron Man is a close second. So, when I came across a beautiful piece of artwork titled Enforcers from Choice Collectibles I knew he would love to hang it on his bedroom wall.
The portrait not only features Spiderman, but also Captain America, Iron Man, Human Torch, Android Human Torch (from the 1940’s), and a handful of other Marvel comic book superheroes. The Enforcers is a matted lithograph and comes with the Marvel logo embossed on the frame – it looks far more expensive than it actually is. Choice Collectibles offers the limited edition Enforcers portrait for under $50.
When my nephew opens up his Enforcers print on Christmas morning, he’s going to feel like he hit the lottery! He will most definitely want help hanging the art piece over his bed (which is of course covered with a Spiderman bedset). The portrait, including the matte, is 17 inches tall by 14 inches wide. It’s the perfect size for something in his bedroom.
What impressed me the most about the Enforcers piece was how vibrant and colorful it is! I am always a bit skeptical when making purchases online, we have all had bad experiences and received products that didn’t quite look like the ones on the website. But, I did not have that problem at all with Choice Collectibles. In all actuality, the website doesn’t do the print justice – in real life The Enforcers is so much bolder and brighter than it was on the website.
If you have a little boy on your holiday list that is as obsessed with Marvel comic book characters as my nephew Jayden, then you have to check out the Choice Collectibles website. The company has a ton of Marvel inspired artwork for the comic book lovers on your gift list.
