Giveaway: Snoopy Goes Couture

Snoopy has gone couture!  Snoopy and the Peanuts gang are fixtures in our household, my 3 year old daughter Ava is obsessed with all things Snoopy. She has the toys, the movies, the books, and even the clothes. Recently I was online and perusing some new Peanuts gear for her when I stumbled across Snoopy And Belle In Fashion – and I fell absolutely head over heels in love with the amazing line and breathtaking designs.  Who would have thought that Snoopy cleaned up so nice?

When we think of Snoopy, his sister Belle, and the rest of the Peanuts gang – we automatically picture bright colored and animated kids’ clothes, but the Snoopy And Belle In Fashion line is high-end fashion.  SIBF is an exhibit that originated at New York Fashion Week in 2014.  The collection features 30 vinyl Snoopy and Belle dolls, each dressed in a different fashionable outfits to document the trends that have come and gone during the cartoon’s 60 plus year run. 

The Snoopy And Belle In Fashion line wasn’t just created by any old designer, it is actually a collaboration featuring over a dozen famous designers like Betsey Johnson, Mac Cosmetics, Kenneth Cole, DKNY, Diane Von Furstenberg, Dries Van Noten, Zac Posen, Calvin Klein, and so many more.  The SBIF line was organized by Matt Murphy, celeb stylist Cannon, and Martine Izquierdo (who has worked with major stars like Angelina Jolie and Heidi Klum). 

My daughter and I have been counting down the days until the premiere of “The Peanuts Movie” in 3D in November, 2016.  To celebrate the exciting upcoming movie premiere, Snoopy And Belle In Fashion is hitting the road and going on an international world tour.  The SBIF exhibit will be making its debut in Paris, France at the end of September. Then, the tour continues in to 2016 and Snoopy and his very fashionable sister Belle will be visiting Milan, Osaka, Brazil, Hong Kong, and Latin America.

Out of all of the Snoopy and Belle designs, my absolute favorite had to be the one designed by Zac Posen.  Belle is decked out in gorgeous black ruffled dress with a maroon floral pattern on it.  And, her brother Snoopy is rocking a very dapper matching maroon tuxedo.  So adorable!  After I got done ogling the SBIF designs on their official webpage, I checked out their boutique and purchased an adorable tote bag, which I’m sure my daughter Ava will confiscate and I won’t ever even get a chance to use it.
