When my daughter Ava was born three years ago, I made the commitment use the safest personal care products on her skin. Baby skin is so sensitive because it’s not as thick as adults and the last thing I wanted to do was to apply products that aren’t gentle and safe as possible. That’s why I was excited to learn that JOHNSON’s Baby has gone above and beyond for their commitment to renew their ‘promise’ to mothers.
Their products have always been gentle and safe, but JOHNSON’s Baby has recently released a new campaign called ‘Your Promise Is Our Promise’, which reiterates their commitments to mothers. As such, they have changed the formulas in all of their products to be as gentle and safe for the baby as possible. Every single one of these products is hypoallergenic and made specifically for a baby’s skin, and as the mother ‘promises’ her baby that they’ll never get hurt, JOHNSON’s Baby promises the mothers that their products will honor that. Seriously though, why take a risk with another brand when you’re actually getting a promise from Johnson? There’s a reason that they’re a leading brand for baby products.
JOHNSON’s Baby has created an ‘Our Promise’ video on Youtube, showcasing an ingenious method of keeping their promise. They’ve made it as an open letter to mothers everywhere, using scientists and their families working together to create an origami stork mobile. This is supposed to symbolize their promise to always work together, but we’ll go into the history behind that in just a second.
The concept of the origami stork mobile was inspired by the Japanese legend that states that folding 1000 origami cranes will result in a wish ‘granted and fulfilled’. It’s thought to be a huge labor of love, which is why the fulfilled promise at the end of it means so much. So Johnson’s Baby decided to symbolize their concept both literally and figuratively, and went ahead with their origami stork mobiles. The storks were used to represent the babies, and the ‘hopes and promises of families’.
The products that have been reformulated all belong to their baby care line, and include:
Johnson’s Baby Head-To-Toe Wash
Johnson’s Baby Lotion
Johnson’s Baby Shampoo
Johnson’s Baby Shampoo & Conditioner For Thick And Curly Hair
Johnson’s Baby Shampoo & Conditioner For Thin And Straight Hair
Johnson’s Baby Shampoo With Calming Lavender
Johnson’s Baby Soothing Vapor Baby Bath
Again, these products have always been very gentle on babies, children, and any adult who decides to use them, but now they’ve been reformulated, you CAN notice the difference. I have always been a strong advocate of Johnson’s Baby and it’s great knowing that I’m not putting any chemicals on my baby’s delicate skin!
Be sure to check out the reformulated Johnson’s Baby products which are available for purchase in stores now.
