Nicole Richie and her daughter Harlow enjoyed a mother-daughter day shopping in Hollywood, CA on Friday (Feb. 7).
The reality star turned designer wore a black dress jacket, jeans and flat booties. She carried the 6-year-old while holding a jacket around her.
Richie who is also mom to 4-year-old son Sparrow says motherhood changes you completely.
“Motherhood makes you way more conscious of how you distribute your spare time,” the socialite told Marie Claire Mexico’s February issue. “Kids are so precious that your priorities change completely.”
She also talked about how she manages to balance business and family life.
“I think that’s a global struggle and we, all women, are constantly trying to find a solution,” she said. “I’m like any other working mother trying to make things work and dealing with this situation one day at a time. I have an amazing family and they’ve all been very supportive, my parents live only ten minutes away and my husband and his twin brother help me when I need it.”
Richie has been married to Joel Madden since 2010.
