Ben Affleck: Sunday Daddy Duties

Ben Affleck was photographed taking his daughter Violet to her basketball game in Brentwood, California on Sunday (Nov. 10).

The Argo actor was dressed in a leather motorcycle jacket, dress shirt and dark jeans while Violet wore her team outfit. She playfully stuck out her tongue at the paparazzi.

His wife Jennifer Garner was busy taking an run and then doing some grocery shopping at Gelson’s Market. The couple eventually met up to enjoy a lunch date Pacific Palisades, CA.

Affleck who is set t0 play Batman in Man of Steel 2 admits he was hesitant to take on the role.

“Initially I was reluctant as I felt I didn’t fit the traditional mold,” said Affleck. “But once Zack showed me the concept, and that it would be both different from the great movies that Chris and Christian made but still in keeping with tradition I was excited. Doing something different and new is always tricky and part of the thrill and the risk is that initially it confounds expectations … the movie and the execution of it is what all the actors depend on and I believe in Zack’s vision.”
