It’s my first Mother’s Day and I’m so excited to spend it with my husband and baby boy. Being a mom is seriously one of the best things in the world. It is challenging (being pooped and peed on twice in the same day) and can be frustrating at times (teething, fussiness, growth spurts) but it is so worth it – his little smile or laugh turns my day around.
One of the best pieces of advice I received was to cherish each moment because they grow up so fast…and it is so true! My little baby is 6 months old and it feels like only yesterday I was at the hospital in labor. He is already rolling over, sitting up on his own and becoming more independent each day. I still rock with him in the rocking chair while reading our books and sometimes nap with him. I love it and hope that my little baby wants to cuddle with mommy forever.
I hope you have a fabulous Mother’s Day weekend filled with lots of laughs, cuddles, hugs and kisses!
Check back in next week and I’d love to hear how you spent your Mother’s Day weekend! Breakfast in bed? Spa day? Beautiful card?
