Alanis Morissette & Ever: Hawaii Beach Bums

Alanis Morissette enjoyed a beautiful day on the beach in Hawaii with her son Ever on Saturday (May 4).

The singer looked like a normal mom in a black bikini with the words “Self Love” written on the bottom. She carried Ever around on the beach and played in the sand with him.

In the past, Alanis has admitted she was not totally prepared to become a mother after the birth of her soon in December 2010.

 “I remain baffled at how little I was prepared for what was to come,” the mom wrote in an iVillage.com blog post.

“I had used, as usual, the I’ll-rise-to-that-occasion-when-I-get-there approach to the post-child-bearing journey,” she continued, adding, “So all my DVD-watching and focus went toward the birth experience itself, and how to prepare myself for that (as though I really could prepare for a Human. Being. Coming. Out. Of. My. Body),” she wrote.

Meanwhile, the star has teamed up with Zachary Quinto to promote a Kiehl’s facial cream in support of the environment.  Although it might sound strange, it’s for the environment.
